Yes, as we all know configuration of the gadget is most important and we all choose based on the configuration. So between these two cheapest tablets, the Aakash tablet PC is a basic tablet computer with minimal features which is just for the use of students. So from this you can understand the configuration will be quite less when compared to Ubislate 7, as this is for students. Ubislate 7 coms with high and advanced features with a little bit high cost than Aakash tablet. This is common, as if the configuration is high, the cost of the product will also be higher.

On comparing the other features, Ubislate 7 has the feature of internet connectivity either through GPRS or WiFi. But for this internet connection, you need to pay the monthly subscription fee of about Rs.98 for 2 GB date usage. This is just like your normal mobile internet which you need to pay as called the net booster of your network. But in Aakash tablet, the student version does not include the feature of having internet connection. There is no GPRS connection which let it down when compared with Ubislate 7. Well, the fact is they would have thought students might not need internet and so they would have cut that feature from Aakash tablet just to have it in low cost for students.

Another important difference between the Aakash tablet and the Ubislate 7 is, in Ubislate 7 we can use it a phone. Yes, we can use it as phone by inserting SIM to it. You can make phone calls and also send messages to other mobiles. Whatever network you have, you can use it to Ubislate 7. It just act as a phone, and this is why you also have the GPRS connection. But all these facility are not available in Aakash tablet. You cannot use it as mobile for making phones calls and sending messages. So by these two features many of you would like to choose Ubislate 7.
