Another cheap tablet in pipeline- Reliance planning to launch tablet for 3000INR

The tablet business is just at its high. With no more than a week when cheapest tablet- Aakash was launched, there is a buzz about Mukesh Ambani plans to launch tablet for 3000 INR. As reported by Economic Times report, it is likely that company will launch product at the 3000 price tag in market in near future.
Reports reflect that company has assessed several prototypes from Taiwan and china and might focus on 4-5 variation to launch tablet pc in Indian market in price variation of 3000 INR to 8000 INR. The entry level tablet in the market is speculated to run Google Android.
Tablet computers are now available in India at prices ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 47,000. Indeed, Reliance Communications, which is owned by Anil Ambani, Mukesh’s younger brother, also launched a Rs 12,999 tablet device in August.
Still, India is a very nascent market and the competition has only just begun. In the nine months to June, nearly 158,000 tablet computers were sold in the country, according to a Dainik Bhaskar report. Samsung led the market with a 46 percent share, followed by BlackBerry (21 percent) and Apple (18 percent). Shipments are expected to climb to 2,75,000 units by the end of December.
